Extrusion Press Heaters

Accu-Therm is a specialist in design, and manufacturing heating systems for the extrusion press industry. Our years of experience in this application enable us to provide long life performance in these difficult applications. Care is exercised to design each system to its maximum capacity, for the space available, with conservative watt densities coupled with the finest materials available. This combination gives superior life in these applications.

Container Holder Heating Systems

Accu-Therm can provide radiant heater systems designed to fit container holders of single piece or two piece construction. This method of container heating allows the changing of containers without disconnection of the heater system. Many gas fired units have been converted to the more efficient, more easily controlled electric heat.

Container Heating

If the container holder is not of the design to allow the installation of heaters or if additional heat is required to supplement container holder heating system elements can be installed in the container.

Accu-Thermm offers different designs, for this application. Each design depending upon customer requirements and/or current method being used.
The single ⅝ diameter unit with terminals at both ends is the most economical and efficient method of providing heat.

Bore Heaters

Accu-Therm offers custom design units to be used to supplement other heating systems.

Certifications

Our heaters are currently UL recognized, CSA compliant and CE approved. We are ASME and National Board certified for Section VIII Div 1 Pressure Vessel Welding.

Additionally, we have built heaters to Military standards for the Army, Navy, Coast Guard and DCSC. We have designed and built systems to Canadian pressure vessel codes CRN, ABSA & TSSA. We also meet certain NSF, NACE and API standards.
